The private onsen in our family room was a fantastic highlight, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring.
One downside was the walk to the central hot spring area, which took about 15-20 minutes and could be quite tiring.

Had a blast at Eidaya! The personal onsen was great, and the warm, cute vibes made all the difference. Just watch out for the uphill walk back from town, a little tiring but worth it for the fresh air. Highly recommend it!

The room was very large, exceptionally well equipped, and comfortable with a super famicom game console. We enjoyed the private onsen access all night and the Japanese-style breakfast was fresh and delicious. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, truly making our stay memorable.

We enjoyed the homely feel of this place, and having a private onsen in our family room was a highlight for the kids. The food was fantastic, and the staff made us feel right at home with their warmth and attentiveness.
In my wife’s opinion, more kid-friendly activities would be great.

central spot for soaking in kusatsu's charm and culture
the hotel's easy access to key attractions like the Kosenji temple just a few steps away and the Kusatsu Onsen Netsunoyu only a short stroll makes it a fantastic base for exploring the local area. The warm welcome from the friendly staff and delicious traditional meals made my stay truly enjoyable. just be prepared for the uphill walk back from the town center, but the fresh mountain air is a nice bonus.

The Japanese-Style Modern Comfort Room was cozy with tatami flooring and a nice coffee table with a sofa. Loved the yukata provided and the private onsen access was a huge plus! The room had a great TV and Nintendo SFC, perfect for relaxing after a day out. Only downside was the 10-15 min walk to the main spots, but the shuttle service helped a lot. Really enjoyed my stay!
